About Me
I have dabbled in the creative arts my entire life. I began drawing since I could hold a pencil. I drew until I grew an interest in fashion and costuming when I was about 9 years old. I began sewing by hand when I was 8 and by machine when I was 12 for my American Girl Dolls and myself. At 18 I began taking sewing classes at Sacramento City College and began to learn more about the proper techniques required of the fashion industry. In 2020, during the pandemic, I began my studies in Apparel Design at San Francisco State University.
Throughout those years I created various items including cosplays from shows and games like Genshin Impact, Steven universe, and Sailor Moon. I was also inspired by vintage designs and recreated fashions for myself. I am constantly curious about historical fashions and I am always looking to improve my skills with each costume and garment I make.
My Mission
My mission as a seamstress and designer is to always create with passion. I want my work to fill those who wear my designs with happiness and authenticity. Fashion is for everyone and everyone should be able to access it. My designs are slow fashion, made with thought, passion, and creativity. I pride myself on my math abilities and the ability to create costumes and clothing for everyone's inner child.
